Lessons learned
So, what to do after rebuilding your site? Well we have done the following:
- installed wordfence plugin
- put in site backup plugin
- changed passwords
- put up an SSL certificate (turns the site into an https connection)
Turns out the first three are easy to do yourself, your hosting provider can help you with the SSL certificate
